This dedicated, compassionate group of local charities provide a year-round safety net for less fortunate children, senior citizens, individuals and families throughout El Dorado County. The Food Bank of El Dorado County has selected partner charities that are strategically placed in communities throughout El Dorado County – ultimately guaranteeing access to food assistance to anyone who finds themselves in need.
In accordance with federal civil rights law and U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) civil rights regulations and policies, this institution is prohibited from discriminating on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex (including gender identity and sexual orientation), disability, age, marital status, family/parental status, income derived from a public assistance program, political beliefs, or reprisal or retaliation for prior civil rights activity, in any program or activity conducted or funded by USDA.
Local charities access food resources from the Food Bank of El Dorado County on a regular basis and provide these resources to the less fortunate in the communities they serve.
